In his sharp-toothed micro-budget tragicomedy Tippy Toes, Louis Paxton was inspired by co-writer, actor and close friend and fellow director Sam Baron (who stars) to create a chronic people-pleaser who suddenly snaps and attempts to rewire his behaviour with disastrous results. In our interview, Louis breaks down why grounding characters in genuine emotional stakes makes the absurd moments land all the harder.

I’m Not Sure

There's a stretch of life where we perform adulthood without knowing the lines and Mylissa Fitzsimmons' drama I'm Not Sure places us firmly in that grey area.
